the Hold has been quiet for two weeks — not because the story ended, but because no one spoke. the only rule here: a chapter exists only if readers write into it.

while the dark waited, the gate changed: the Hold now shows its loose threads — unanswered hooks from past chapters, yours to pull. prefer to watch instead? each chapter can reach your inbox.

the Maw closes at 20:00 CET. one voice is enough.

Morndur — the Sunless Hold

An asynchronous collaborative storytelling RPG. Anyone walks in. The narrator listens. The story is what survives.

Morndur · the Sunless Hold

This is... a bizarre mix of very disturbing and sort of dissapointing' Jared doesn't fight, doesn't try to avoid anything. Makes me feel uneasy.

And i can't avoid he had some trick up his sleeve.

The Lonely. Martin's dominion. Not a nice one, and i'm using too kind words. Poor Martin.

BUT i would say, being this the Apocalypse and all that...

...This episode in particular has a happy end. "No. Not anymore". Best fucking wrds to end this episode in particular.

John using his power without feeling guilty is something that would give nightmares to the nightmares themselves. But this tie we're talking about Jude Perry. so... Is easy to understand John.

The statement? Terror after terror. Burning stuff always has that "all that remain is ashes" thing.

Martin jealous. And angry. But this time... The Statement is... the way the agony and death of a person is described here and why, and how is disturbing. This isn't a episode for all people. And i would not be surprised if someone had serious nightmares after listening to it.

And, or course, John's decision at the end.

Travelling through the Apocalypse is... creepy, being kind.

Two things here: All we learn about Gertrude's past is... Logical. Normal. With all that happned to her is normal she didn't trusted in anybody again!

Also: John saying Martin is his reason to keep going. If that is not a declaration of love, i don't know what it is!

The Buried. And Helen. Ad, of course, the cursed worms.

Helen is, as always, trying to hurt John. This time tries to do it through Martin. I think she hasn't achieved it. Is more like a bully without the physical attacks.

Which makes her one of the most evil characters in the whole show, imho.

Another disturbing episode. And a long way to go still. Poor guys :(

This one was... disturbing. The statement gave me a feel of madness. In the scariest sense of the word.

And then, of course, NotSasha. The way the encounter end is even more proof of John not being human anymore. Not completely at least. I would say he still feels like an human.

And the very ends makes it clear. His powers are a source of suffering to him.

Excellent horror indeed.

Woah, The village is something take from the most savages dreams of any Nurgle follower. Holy shit. Having in mind when thsi episode was first released... hit VERY strong.

And then, the second part. Is a pilgrimage though Hell towards the deepest pit of it. Oh, and Helen. And John using his powers to know stuff.

In a way feels like a very disturbing adventure.
