One of my favorite dmenu script is a wallpaper changer:

Basically what it can do is to specify directories (yes multiple) where you put your images and then assign a shortcut to run the script. Mine is usually mod+w or mod+ctrl+w. You can search for names there and it's really fast.

Of course you need dmenu for it to work.

While there is no picture preview (not with this script anyway, there are probably people who hacked a preview for it), at least we can all learn to rename our wallpaper to something more descriptive than 234763874.jpg. xD

Really easy to setup, if I can do it, you can too. :D
