I understand that there is serious and consistent effort to get Vivaldi Sync working again.

However, nearly fifteen days (since 6th December 2024) seems to be a long time to fix a feature which was already working fine. Also, "Vivaldi Status" [1] says very little in my opinion. A blog post, on this topic, will be relevant.

I’m curious whether there is an eta from @Vivaldi on when the Sync will be back up.

Is there an estimated date for when it will be sorted.

The "sync server is experiencing issues" aka sync not working AT ALL situation is now 10 days old...

As far as I can see there are no statements, no updates about the situation, nothing.

This doesn't really shine a good light on the whole Vivaldi operation.

Sure, stuff can break, but at some point, if it takes this long, someone should say something about it. Officially, not some volunteers speculating in the forum....
