Pearl Jam release their third on November 22, 1994. It's a marked departure from their earlier "grunge" work and firmly planted the band as one of the most important of the 90's. Rolling Stone had "Vitalogy" in their list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" at #492 (2003) and #485 (2012) but amazingly dropped it from the most recent list in 2020.
