I almost lost a recent convert to #linux last weekend. He came from #windows8 to #linuxmint and wanted me to install #windows10. I talked him off the ledge after reconfirming his use case and giving training on #libreoffice, #thunderbird, #nemo, and the #cinnamon desktop. It helped to remind him that this was all free and already on his machine. Add up the cost of licensing for #windows10 and #office and you are easily in the few hundred USD range. Oh, and don't forget to get a #virusscanner.
