Rephrasing and expanding:

Mostly western companies, charities and other organisations have already invested almost four hundreds and sixty million US dollars this year in foreign criminal organisations and sanctioned countries, further improving the criminals' capabilities to exploit more victims.
Predicted earnings from this investment for these and other western organisations are in the negative hundred or thousand millions US dollars annually, not counting opportunity losses resulting from the massive transfer of capital, the increased cost in insurance, taxation, or other external factors.

Investment in practices and robust technology which enable resilience against and recovery from many similar incidents - often costing as much as nothing or less - remains steady at where's-the-shareholder-value-in-that.

@kkarhan @luap42 sadly not .. they are quite toxic and ask again and again and again until you slip up and then say it is your fault..
But thats no wonder with how your cursor looks like that you are into this.

#victimBlame

In 1947, even when Wisconsin was awarded 1st Place for Pedestrian Safety, the #WisDOT felt the need to #VictimBlame... shaming pedestrians for being ignorant, inattentive, slow, old, too young or just being where they do not belong. 🚢 https://wisconsindot.gov/Documents/travel/road/hwy-maps/state-maps/hwy_map_archive/1947StateHighwayMapWI.pdf
I’m glad Twitter got fined, but the Twitter users who just disclose their phone number on request to a tech giant also deserve what they got. Yes, I’m blaming the victims. (#victimBlame) Fuck Twitter, and fuck the victims for trusting Twitter with a mobile phone number.
