Back in the late 80s, our local Harvester restaurant had a life-size Wurzel Gummidge figure next to the salad bar. Maybe they all did. Even then, it was the best part of a decade since the show had been on TV, so it was a bizarre choice. I think my parents had to explain who it was supposed to be, but it obviously made an impression for me to remember it to this day.
