The fact I’ve forgotten so much of these books is helping because I feel they are changing stuff that would be upsetting to hardcore Anne Rice fans.

I watched the first season of Interview as it came out and was underwhelmed; I watched S2 as a binge and thought it was much improved. Here I am again watching weekly and so far it’s ‘fine’, serviceable but nothing special. I hope we get to Queen of the Damned, 20 year old Dave thought that was one of best books ever. #television #vampirelestat

First things first, I haven’t read any of the Lestat books in several decades, so my memory is cloudy. Sam Reid doesn’t work as Lestat for me, I’m just not getting Brat from him. The first episode was “fine”, nothing special but that’s to be expected; this is mostly stage setting. I’m not a fan of the entire thing being told as flashbacks but that’s a me thing. #television #vampirelestat
