This was a ValAngel idea I had in my head since my first watch. I wanted to explore Valentino and Angel's dynamic after Vox's reveal of mind controlling Angel Dust. We see that Valentino is upset with Vox while this is happening in flashbacks. This comic is about Valentino finding the scars (particularly Vox's handprint) on Angel's body from their encounter in the hotel room. I know that in the show, it's seen that these two aren't healthy and that Val doesn't really seem to care too much. Hell, he let Vox do that shit to him! But, I think part of my delusion is wanting Valentino to care enough that this actually really did deeply hurt him and he feels responsible. And he should feel that way, because he is. He's coming to the realization that he failed to protect the love of his life and he let it happen.
