We spent yesterday on St John’s, US Virgin Islands. The main power for the island was out for almost the entire time. It was sabotage. Fortunately (or ironically) most enterprises have backup generators so commerce could proceed.

The other Danish islands the US pressured into selling. Let’s just say the locals have a “complicated” relationship with the former colonial power.
