US Pirate Party. I'm more "econ left" than most mainstream liberals and more "social lib" than most supposed libertarians.
I'm basically a model progressive, except I categorically deny that the police state is qualified to make lifestyle choices for people, at gunpoint, for their own good...
... and that absolute limits on the police state's authority somehow exist to protect the oppressor from the oppressed.
I'm a Pirate: I am a libertarian on most questions of allowing persons to do things, and a progressive on most questions of helping persons to do things.
Gets fuzzier on the topic of organizations, corporations, and nation-states.
Other people forget that the courts and police are controlled by the exact people they want to give them the authority to regulate. I don't.
