This is because it does not virtualize, but works like a just-in-time compiler.
Good thing I took dynamic compilers class at #TUvienna.

As the operative head of ROTA and being a member of the research group INSO at the TU Wien, I was invited by the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation to give an introduction to ICT4D. Special thanks for organizing the lecture goes to Gerhard Navratil and Richard Lee. My introduction will be part of a Ringvorlesung named Projects in Development Aid. There will be other lectures with different backgrounds and I highly recommend you to visit the others as well.
I will introduce participants to ICT4D, discuss projects & past research and I will give an overview of our activities at ICT4D.at. We are currently looking for students who are interested in participating in our projects, teach a few months computer science in India or to start writing a thesis in the field of ICT4D.
