Last August on a terrible day I discovered my 14' tall potted american winterberry holly tree had root rot. I unpotted it. Flipped the root mass onto my lap and sawed out as much mush as I could. I then gave the root ball a quick soak in diluted bleach water before repotting it in a 13" tall pot. Yesterday I repotted it in a huge pot w new soft dirt that had manure mixed in. Happy to report the roots are alive and grew, tree is budding out. #Gardening #TreeSurgeon
