My understanding is that monotherapy requires a larger dose of injectables. Like physically more liquid.

I've heard of people doing it in their thighs. However from what i know. Doing it in the Gluteus Maximus (butt muscle) should be better.
The more muscle mass should help absorb the larger amount of liquid.
And work well with the release time of the ester.

That's how trans men's monotherapy works here.
Now there's some complications for DIY:
- You'll need a much larger and longer needle.
- There's some important nerves here you really don't want to hit.
- Harder to do on your own.
- Butt soreness might be worse for you.
- Getting a longer release ester might be difficult to find.
Ideally our monotherapy should be a once-a-month thing. Like how trans men have it here.
It would fit neatly into the ovulation stuff, i talked about before too.

#trans #transfem #transdiy #hrt #TransMeds Ovulation and the menstrual cycle not being consider for transgender women is strange.
Your knee-jerk reaction might be something like: "What? I don't have any eggs inside of me!"
It's not about the egg cells.
We're interested in the hormonal changes, that come with the menstrual cycle.
Right now it seems everyone got their own idea of where your hormone levels should be at.
Some use the numbers from menopausal cis women, others get them from the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, some might even take an average of the entire menstrual cycle and say that's good enough.
It makes everything very confusing and hard to digest.
Which numbers are right? Might be tricky to answer.
One could assume that taking a single large monotherapy dose, once a month would be enough.
But if one doesn't have ovaries or a uterus, would this make sense?
Simulating a menstrual cycle when one cannot menstruate.
There are cis women without ovaries and uterus, maybe they have the right levels for us? However, they too would be subject to similar issues, regarding where hormone levels should be at.
Women's bodies aren't this hyper complicated thing but women's health is often an afterthought and more research would be appreciated.
#trans #transfem #transdiy #hrt #TransMeds The unfortunate reality for DIY is that you'll need crypto to buy it.
You're lucky if you can get it without but for our purposes, we'll assume you want to order online and require it.
To get crypto, you'll need to convert your FIAT(real money) to crypto(fake money

).
I haven't gone through setting up a crypto wallet for myself yet.
If that's of interest, i could share here.
If you live in the EU, services for exchanging FIAT-to-Crypto are required to Know Your Customer, which means you'll need to send them a valid ID of yours, before you can exchange.
I don't know if this is true for other parts of the world.
Prefer crypto wallets you have control over, there's a lot of scams happening with wallet websites and well... crypto in general.

Get Bitcoin over other cryptos, as it's accepted everywhere.
Add enough for your current orders. Crypto is still at that perpetual stage of only have as much as you're comfortable losing.
The transfer of crypto is slow and can take a while, hours to multiple days(depending on the site).
Paying with crypto is usually a lot faster.
Remember to take screenshots of the crypto transfer receipt when you're paying for HRT.
If something goes wrong, you have an easy way to confirm that the crypto was sent.
A small introduction to the unfortunate world of crypto.
