I think my spline is aching. What happened to the nice, simple cubic splines that I normally use?

Yesterday we ended up going to #ikea. Needed some small things, thought it would be nice to go #shopping on a Saturday.

Please remind me NEVER to go to IKEA on Saturday ever again. I’ll be spending all day today in recovery.
