I had no idea USB dimmer switches even existed! And somehow, it actually works on the super-bright word clock from Home Bargains! They were around 2 for £10 on Amazon.

That, or is there an easy way to dim your screen itself?

There is/was an #addon for some browsers called #Stylish that enabled a person to edit the CSS of #websites on a per-domain basis. If its FOSS it might be worth looking into?
