Joel Wirāmu, Pauling#thailand #krabi - the limestone sand beaches look picturesque and there are no shortage of tourists cosplaying for their Social Media feeds. But I spent the day in a #kayak going to all the areas marked on nautical maps as coral. Nothing nada, completely dead. Evidence of dead cushion and basket corals but no more than a handful of #reef fish spotted anywhere. #tonsai at least at a few resident sea cucumbers left. I put my head underwater a few times near most coral-ish looking areas. No sounds (healthy reefs have audible crackle) :(

NabilAfin d’éviter de prendre des bateaux, nous sommes de nombreuses fois passés par les chemins de forêt tropicale, par moments moins denses et laissant admirer de belles falaises.
26.03.2024 Tonsai : on a passés m essentiel des derniers jours à grimper. pour l’unique visite que l’on a effectué, de la grotte des chauves souris, nous avons regrettés d’avoir laissé notre matériel derrière. Cette grotte débouche en effet sur un point de vue qu’il est possible de descendre en rappel. La fin du séjour s’est accompagnée d’une nouvelle intoxication alimentaire pour moi, ayant donc du écourter les sessions d’escalade
