I've got a #Pimoroni #Tiny2350, and I installed the #picokey #pico-fido firmware on it, fudging the "Custom VID/PID" to make it superficially appear to be a #Yubikey. I've set up the passkey with github and google.com - they accept it!

A PIN gets initially set; it needs to be used - plus also the hardware button labelled "BOOT" must be pressed - every time I use it to authenticate.

These Tiny2350's are much cheaper than Yubikeys. They cost about 1/6th the price. But you have to fiddle with the custom firmware, and there are several puzzling parameters in the "commissioner" (alas, only works in #Chrome), so you have to invest your time and intellectual labour. Not really sure if it's worth it. 🤔

The #usefulsensors #tinycodereader sits quite nicely on the #pimoroni #tiny2350 if you use enough kapton tape.

Not great at paper qrcodes (very lighting sensitive) but pretty good with on-screen qrcodes. Pity it doesn't and/or support rMQR
