After three successive summer droughts in 2018, 2019, and 2020, the dieback of oaks has considerably increased in the center of France.

Florian Mouret and his colleagues from #CESBIO and #Orleans University, have set-up a new method to monitor oak dieback, using #Sentinel2 #EarthObservation data as input, with terrain measurements to train the classification model.
