Madness is the...I am 6th episode in 'Pennyworth', and it's a great series. Brutal, dark and I can absolutely imagine that this is the UK in the same universe as Gotham City.
Rated R in my book, not just for the strippers but some very horrific death scenes, and torture. Do NOT show this to your kids. Alfred also is not your family butler (yet).
Since there is no definite version of origin story of Alfred, they can do a lot of things with it. I hope it will have many good seasons, and they don't just jump the timeline, just because we need to see Bruce Wayne as a fucking baby boy.
