I've been very unhappy with my sewing machine's limitations since I purchased it. It is a Singer CE677. For my price range it is decent and at the time I was excited. My biggest peeve is that I couldn't sew heavier garments on it. No jeans or anything heavier than my sweater jacket could really go under it. I think even that light fleece lined sweater jacket probably pushed the limits on it. But I'm a dress maker so I'm really not going to do many heavy duty projects.

I want the option though. I really really want the option. I'd like to make a cool bag one day with all the pockets.

I've been looking at the Juki HZL-F300 for computerized machines, and the Janome HD3000, or the Bernette B05 Academy for mechanical machines.

Well, my friend sent me a gift card to the sewing store. Bastet bless them. Combined with what I saved, I can now buy any one of these machines.
