The BBC has renewed The Traitors and The Celebrity Traitors for an additional three seasons each, carrying them to 2030 with The Traitors hitting Season 8 and The Celebrity Traitors hitting Season 5. Claudia Winkleman is expected to remain as host.

I also want to say, Claudia Winkleman has gotten way softer throughout the seasons, which I enjoy. After hosting The Celebrity Traitors last year it seems something has shifted. I love it. I feel like I can actually lean into her mischievousness now, she formerly came across as *just rude*. More of this please. 👏🏻
Holy fucking shit. This might have been my favourite season yet, with who we had as Traitors? Winning honourably and without backstabbing each other? Playing clever and being honest? TWO Traitors winning at the end? They played an absolutely incredible game, and they were so close to being voted out at points, too!
That finale was so wholesome, I teared up! 😱 Just wow!

Incidentally, one project I'd wanted to do is a players tier list with everyone in every series I've seen.
It's not happening anyway because I don't remember everyone well enough (I've forgotten half of Denmark S1's players for instance) but this series makes it even harder. The collective vs individual is usually a purely Faithful issue, and fades by the end. Not this time.
The most unexpected moment of these series is Claudia being emotional at the very end. I was expecting everything, but not that!
