In the past 5 minutes: 1. We found a vole living in our mulch pile. We safely relocated them to the woods behind the house. 2. On the way to the woods, we found a DeKay's Brown Snake sunning itself on our sidewalk. 3. On our way back from the woods, we were passed, within 10 feet, by a hawk chasing a small bird downhill towards the woods at amazing speed. What a day!! #nature #wildlife #illinois #love
