I heard 'Tell Me' on Triple J's excellent, but slightly odd, "Three Hours Of Power" compilation album from 1994 named 'Eleven'.

(Seriously, You Am I is on there, sandwiched between Pantera and Gorefest)

2.
They were the first proper live band I saw, at Wollongong Uni in 1996.

I remember it being good and sweaty, but also the first time I remember my ears ringing after a show.
