there seems to be some confusion around the classic yugioh card "ultimate offering". the original card text in japanese reads:

１体につき５００ライフポイントを支払う事で、通常の召喚とは別にモンスターを召喚できる。

i'd like to know if this means "you can summon monsters", referring to the player controlling the card, or if the opponent might also be allowed to do so. the english card text is not clear on this. could someone who knows japanese help me out here?
