A mostly laugh-free episode, the weakest in a long while. Red being afraid to fly seemed out-of-character. Plus, it led to nothing of consequence. All the airport stuff felt like filler. And very little that happened at the house party was interesting, either. 5/10
Wayne Knight. Best episode in a while. Both storylines are very strong, and semi-serious. Plus, there are several big laughs. The groupings of the characters in this one are particularly good. Gwen and Nate work really well together, while Leia and Jay are adorable. Nikki and Ozzie are perfect foils for Kitty. _My 501st TV episode of 2024. Averaging 53m of TV per day._ 9/10
Favorite television comedies of 2024
Now that December has begun, it is time to start appreciating and recognizing the best from entertainment in 2024. Listed below are best television comedies watched in 2024.
As noted below, Shrinking was nearly placed in a tie at first with Nobody Wants This. And as can be seen, only a single show from traditional network television has been included on this list.
It was thought that the news comedy St. Denis Medical might join the list, but so far this blog author has found most of the characters unlikeable and the episodes aired to date filled with petty bickering rather than humor.
Peace and enjoy!
