Got the flu during #grandfest, so had to call it quits at an earlier hour. Still, the results please me, and I feel partial in that.

All in all, a good send off to what is bound to be the #nintendoswitch #splatoon era.

I don’t know why others may hold this opinion though the actual typical last Splatfest reasons were secondary to me honestly… if I had to independently rank reasons for teams winning it would be something like…
Theme for Splatoon 4: Future, Past, Present
New Game: Past (Splatoon 1 remake) Present (Splatoon 3 Deluxe) Future (Splatoon 4)
Me before August 23: Future, Present, Past

News / Splatfest: Grand Festival Results

Final results are now in for the #GrandFestival #Splatfest! Without any further delay, let's announce the results.

Leading in the Sneak Peek and Popularity categories, it is #TeamPresent with 33.93% (90p) and 57.36% (70p) respectively. #TeamPast lags behind with 33.42% (45p) and 24.75% (35p) respectively.

For Open, Pro and Tri-Colour, Team Past takes the lead in all of those (with Team Present presenting itself a bit too late) with 34.87% (120p), 36.29% (120p) and 35.43% (180p) respectively. Team Present got second with 33.57% (60p), 32.83% (60p) and 33.54% (90p).

Now that we've gone through each category, #TeamFuture failed to secure a future with winning 0 categories. Pretty much in every category (except Sneak Peek), they were 2% behind second place. Team Present managed to score 370p with winning 2 categories and being in second place in 3, but it unfortunately wasn't enough. Team Past wins this Splatfest with 500p by winning 3 categories and being in second place for the other two!

I really thought Team Present had it when the halftime results were 33.33% (since I'm sure everyone knows how obsessed the game is with 3).

I'd really love to hear everyone's thoughts on the Grand Festival in a reply to this post now that it's over. Do you think it was a good send-off to Splatoon 3?

So many feels this Splatfest 😭😭
I am so sad we won’t be able to experience the Grand Fest Grounds again… but it felt like an excellent send off to the game! Just had to get a good shot of the main stage!
