It’s been such an absolutely lovely week at #tasa2022 of seeing colleagues I hadn’t seen for years, some I’d never seen in person. My highlight was quality ECR time, after we’ve all had a few hard years (pandemic, horrendous job market, the increasing demands in our neoliberal universities, general unraveling of colonial capitalist society). But it was nice to be celebrating PhDs, jobs, grants, just surviving and seeing the new fab phd research 🔥 Also THESE LAMINGTONS #academia #sociology #food
