Apparently, the daughter of the original author is rebooting the series?? I just downloaded the first book to check it out…
Okay, I’m about 30% into the book (ebooks make that kind of estimate too easy 
) and we’re just now getting into a mystery setup. I can forgive a bit of a slow start as we reacquaint ourselves with the changes in the new series, but boy howdy does everyone in this book like to have random asides about their whole genealogy and infodumps about local history 😂 I’m hoping it tightens up, but I’m still enjoying it in a silly-nostalgic way
