This role will report to the Team Leader and will be home based in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France or Austria. This is an amazing opportunity to provide services to libraries such as consulting, system analysis, configuration, (web-)trainings, workshops, implementation assistance and customer guidance as part of a project team led by a project manager. For selected small scope projects, the position requires full end to end project management and implementation responsibilities. We have a great skill set in project delivery and we would love to speak with you if you have experience with Library workflows, proficiency in English plus at least one other European language. About You –experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Proficiency in written and spoken English Written and spoken proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German (preferred), Italian, French, Spanish or Hungarian. At least 2 years’ experience working in structured libraries or implementing software in a SaaS environment It would be great if you also had . . . Experience in Higher Education (HE), e.g. Information Management, Electronic Resources, Library Management, Teaching and Learning and/or academic research processes Working knowledge of Ex Libris products Masters’ or BA degree in Library Science or related fields IT savviness and familiarity with metadata and web technologies is a plus Understanding of project management Experience working with B2B or/and B2G customers is an advantage What will you be doing in this role? Conducting. Conduct system and data analysis as part of Ex Libris products implementations Performing. Perform Ex Libris products configuration based on customer’s requirements Interpreting. Interpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into solutions Providing. Provide consulting, guidance and assistance to customers during the project life cycle to ensure successful implementation and high customer satisfaction Training. Train customers in Ex Libris products, web-based or via on-site workshops, and provide knowledge transfer and support for workflow and configuration decisions Delivering. Deliver project management for small scale projects and take responsibility for the coordination of all project work, project planning, monitoring, tracking, communication, reporting, risk management and escalations. Communicating. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders such as Product Management team, Support team, Sales team, Customer Success team, Cloud and IT team. The external stakeholders include Libraries, Research offices and IT departments. Consulting. There are ad hoc consultancy projects for existing customers. About the Team The Ex Libris Professional Services EMEA team consists of around 40 people located in different EMEA countries The team works on SaaS implementation projects which require customer training, system configuration, problem resolution, workshop both remote or onsite, migration and general consultancy You’ll join a sub-team of 5 people, reporting to the Team Leader The team is very experienced working in a virtual environment We do our best to: Help each other sharing problems and celebrating success Be very customer focused Keep the team spirit high while working remotely Hours of Work This is a full-time permanent role. This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
