Several neat things to unpack here in just a few lines from this image of APSTCH PIRA 00028.

First: This is a great specimen of the #Syro-Malabar script. One of my favorite features of this script is the vertical ܣ (/s/) which you can see a couple of times in lines 5-7.

Second: the lines in red are sort of a mix of #Syriac and #Malayalam #Garshuni. The latter is easy to identify because there are special characters that had to be added to the Syriac alphabet in order to represent sounds in Malayalam that are not represented in Syriac. You can see one of thee near the end of line 4: sort of looks like a 3.

Third, in line 5, you can catch a #Greek->Syriac transliteration ܩܘܪܝܠܝܣܘܢ ܟܪܣܛܠܝܣܘܢ (qwrylyson kristylyson) = Κύριε, ἐλέησον. Χριστέ, ἐλέησον.

Lines 6-8 show the priest where to say the Lord's prayer (ܐܒܘܢ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ) but it only gives the opening and closing words of the prayer, assuming that you have the rest memorized.
