That wasn't a good watch. St Johnstone keep moving the ball backwards, and backtracking when defending rather than going at the attackers.
It all ends up with them giving lots of opportunities for free to their opponents.
StJ got the 3 points, but they didn’t win it, they were lucky their poor decisions weren’t punished.
St Johnstone have not played for a few weeks due to the weather.
Currently watching their first in a while as it happens to be on the TV right now.
Glad to read our loan keeper, and his club Portsmouth, want his loan to be for the full agreed year period. He’s much better than the keepers we got in just before we got relegated. We had much better ones but lost them to Hearts and Aberdeen and the replacements just weren’t up to what we needed to keep us up.
Love that his parents come more often than not all the way up from Whiteley to watch him.
Missed the St Johnstone match even though it was on BBC TV… but great result and apparently a great atmosphere and match according to the after match commentary after I got home and tuned in.
