Is #steeplejacking as an organized phenomenon a real thing? Steeplejacking, i.e. theofascist religious groups infiltrating mainstream churches to cause dissent and promote distrust of local religious leaders, definitely exists, but I hadn’t previously realized that there is supposed to be an actual institute dedicated to promoting it. I’m a bit skeptical of this claim, but it certainly explains a few things if true.
