Oh, right! If you’re using actual #SteamOS, #Homebrew https://brew.sh would be the zero-th tool you need. Otherwise, you won’t be able to install most of them :) It comes with plenty of great tools: it’s like Flatpak for CLI and TUI.

Understandably, the vast majority of guides for the #SteamDeck / #SteamMachine recommend switching to desktop mode and using a GUI app. But Linux is CLI, and CLI is Linux! While I wouldn’t tell anyone what to do, I would like to start collecting useful tools that can be used via SSH.

The first, pretty obvious one: #rclone. It’s a convenient way to mount your shares and work with them as you would with regular files.
