I did a little study of a spotted little owl (Athene brama) aka spotted owlet done in Krita. The photo I studied to paint this was by Ram Mallya as it appears on Owls of the World: A Photographic Guide, second edition, by Heimo Mikkola.

If you like owls, that book is super good! So many good pictures of owls by photographers all over the globe and so much information about so many different owls. Owls are great.
