Scifi lovers also often love space.
As you know, it's also been years (literally) that I wanted to learn coding, but I had no projects.
I didn't know well where I wanted to go with my domain hardtech.industries, I now know.I'm probably going to buy hardtech.space/techmonk.fr to journal online my coding adventures.
It's been some weeks I'm thinking about it, and I've even bought a new laptop for this long time project.
The project is to learn coding in space/spacecraft field.
Step one is to learn how to follow an orbital object (satellite, ISS/Tiangong (if it's possible)). Why not radio contact the crew. I already have an idea for a nice scifi looking TUI.
Step two, build an amateur rocket, and code firmwares and everything needed in a spacecraft like this. Probably going to buy an arduino/raspberry pi or make the AstroPi project.
*Step three, conceive and launch a cubesat (project not yet defined, I'm still thinking about it).
hardtech.space/techmonk.fr is going to be the name of the project and where you'll find the updates of my learning experience.
It's a huge project that will certainly take me years, but it motivates me so much it gives me chills!

Astro Pi | A free challenge where kids run their code in space

The European Astro Pi Challenge is an ESA Education project run in collaboration with the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It offers young people the amazing opportunity to conduct scientific investigations in space, by writing computer programs that run on Raspberry Pi computers on board the International Space Station!
