My animated maths video for this year* is about a mathematical model for traffic flow - and how to visualise the method of characteristics to solve PDEs.
As usual, I've entered it in the Summer of Math Exposition #SoME4, as that hopefully will generate some views and make these things worth my time.
*There may or may not be one next year. There certainly won't be another one this year.

About half have AI generated thumbnails.
Some videos *on* generative models say "oh, these generative models are like a creative artist" - Interesting idea. Counterpoint, go fuck yourself, fuck AI images, and fuck AI music.
I don't care if there's videos *about* AI. there is fun math there, despite the hype. But seeing business majors infect another one of my hobbies is really disheartening.

The challenge this time was to create something that can be used "in the classroom" and it will be subsequently judged by teachers in this regard during peer-review.
Not sure how well the idea of "try to do induction exercises without induction" works for this, but we'll see.
