Use case for Stamps: you stake some stamps to show that you're Not That Bad, but then if you upset someone, they can burn your stake by burning the same amount of their own money... #snfh
Ended up covering Stamps (CC: @emacsen ) in the #SNFH spec, what's interesting about them is they can be used to develop a market for advertising where brands pay stamps to Social Media Influencers in exchange for promotion.
Hint: It's not really possible to break this use case without also breaking donation...
@[email protected] I think the #SNFH answer would be to allow people to add "flags" to their profile, so for example you could add a ThousandRealFollowers flag which is issued by the Fediverse Credit Reporting Bureau™, I can make my own credit bureau but nobody will trust it...

@[email protected] #SNFH ideally a private group would be able to follow-mute a bunch of drama booster groups and be notified of any quote-retweet of any message which was sent inside of their group as well. This allows everyone to play spot-the-snitch.
@[email protected] #SNFH Then everyone should have the option to be notified if any message of theirs is subject to a quote-retweet.
This is tricky because we assume anon identities will be emitting a constant background noise of spam so you don't want to notify when just anyone does a quote-retweet.
But if you can follow someone without their messages going in the home timeline, then that works, also this followed-but-muted status can be used to implement the instance and fedi timelines as boost bots.
#SNFH I'm thinking it probably works to create a mix of reddit and twitter, where you have sub-groups where people can organize and where they're tempted to say increasingly extreme statements...
But then you have quote-retweet to quote someone from one group into another group.
Imagine google search auto-complete but for mastodon, so you can pound out those shitposts even faster. #snfh
