Day 7/7 (Goal Reached)

Took a day off :) In the meantime I looked into assemblers for 65xx-based architectures. Since I'm lacking a few fundamentals, I might as well just step down and try to learn those. :D

Days 5~6/7

I'm currently working on porting over my work on the pre-built FF2 ROM into the disassembly. Bavi_H is helping me out, hehe.

There's not a whole lot I can say about my work other than it's highly technical, and I don't really have a whole lot to show off other than lines of code.

EDIT: I forgot to add, but the post to my blog will be postponed to the last day of this month, lol.

Day 4/7

I'm beat. I didn't get a whole lot done today, and that's mostly because I've been hammering my head against the double-byte encoding the Korean SRW2 ROM uses. On the plus side, I finally learned to use a disassembler, so I think now I should be able to make my own patches for features like music persistence hacks.

Day 2/3 (current goal)

Heya! If you're wondering, "What's up with the daily updates, anyway?" then well, they're there to keep me accountable, of course! And speaking of daily updates, today I did some further work on Gaiden. I made a new branch on my git repository, and wrote a few lines of code. I also got around to translating the file save text.

I figured I might as well create new hashtags for my projects, so here we go:

#srw2br - Super Robot Taisen 2 BR
#fe2br - Fire Emblem Gaiden PT-BR
#dq4br - Dragon Warrior 4 Portuguese
#ff2br - Final Fantasy 2 Translation
#snestiny - General purpose hashtag for my translation work

I'm also tracking how many days until each milestone. So expect updates like, "day 3 out of 5", and so on.

Additionally, Apr 12 is the day I'll release my first devlog post on my blog, so stay tuned...
