Listening to "Railway" again and noticed the line "we're staring at the ticket that says one trip."

It made me think of the bit in #Levanter where #BangChan, #Seungmin and #Han are in the elevator, Seungmin is holding the ticket "to new world," and the other two are looking at it.

So I had to go back to "Levanter" MV to check it out again. It is a one-way ticket. (Okay not exactly the same as one-trip but close enough.)

Is the "Railway" bit intended to be a subtle call-back to the "Levanter" elevator scene?

Contrasting trudging up the stairs on his own, versus taking the elevator (even if it's a shitty and dangerous elevator) with other members of the skz blue team.

Bang Chan does like to put subtle references and hints into his work, and doesn't like to explain them. I guess sometimes the references are deliberate?? And other times it's just coincidence.

I cannot believe how many romantic and shippy references are squished into this one video, and how many of them are way more obvious now that I've been marinating in the #skzLore for over a year.

Back in #skz's rookie year, when #I_N was first getting a bit obsessed with accessories, there was a particular oval glass pendant necklace that he bought in a bunch of different colours. The other members used to borrow (or steal) them quite often.

At some point I'd like to figure out how many of them there actually were, and see if the colours match up at all with the egg colours from Giant.

Seems unlikely, but not impossible

I know he had black, purple, and red for sure. I'm going to keep an eye out for more

Okay it is almost impossible to get a clear image of that (blue-eyed?) wolf running through the snow, but ...

IS THAT ONE OF CHANNIE'S FUCKING CHROME HEARTS BRACELETS THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ON ITS PAW?!!!

I cannot tell if the wolf is actually intended to have four glowing eyes (one eye representing each member of #skzBlue team??) or if it's just the way it's animated with overlapping frames. But it was pretty much impossible to grab a screen of this wolf where it *doesn't* appear to have four eyes.

(Of course I am going to overanalyse this out the wazoo, because this is what I do. If the ferret only has 2 eyes and the wolf has 4 eyes, it makes me think of how the skz blue team seems to be more of a solid and established unit in prior #skzlore, whereas #skzRed team seems more fragmented and fragile.)

Happily reunited in their furry coats reminiscent of the wolf-pelt outfits from "Wolfgang". They originally had to perform that song without #Hyunjin, but made sure to present a reworked version that included him as soon as they could.

I have some vague memories of the dual moon imagery in skz videos *before* #Levanter, but I don't know if that's really a thing or I'm muddling my memories.

I want to go back and watch again *right now* but I have other things to do this evening, alas.

Hey in the movie The Dark Crystal, there's a cataclysmic event in which the crystal cracked, and a lot of things in that world cracked or split in two at the same time.

Their planet originally had one moon, and it split into two moons at the time of the cataclysm.

Then, when the shard of the cracked crystal was restored, the split parts were healed and recombined.

Like how the red & blue lights danced over the water and then recombined into a single light again as part of the HOP logo splash.
