Listening to "Railway" again and noticed the line "we're staring at the ticket that says one trip."

It made me think of the bit in #Levanter where #BangChan, #Seungmin and #Han are in the elevator, Seungmin is holding the ticket "to new world," and the other two are looking at it.

So I had to go back to "Levanter" MV to check it out again. It is a one-way ticket. (Okay not exactly the same as one-trip but close enough.)

Is the "Railway" bit intended to be a subtle call-back to the "Levanter" elevator scene?

Contrasting trudging up the stairs on his own, versus taking the elevator (even if it's a shitty and dangerous elevator) with other members of the skz blue team.

Bang Chan does like to put subtle references and hints into his work, and doesn't like to explain them. I guess sometimes the references are deliberate?? And other times it's just coincidence.

Ah I found another earlier post of mine, speculating that Railway was coded red instead of blue because #BangChan associates the color red with sexytimes (e.g. Red Lights, plus various times he's mentioned red over the years)

#skzRed team and #skzBlue team were explicitly defined last year in #skzCode 59, part 1 of #FallFieldDay.

The HOP album also came in red and blue versions, with the members' solos mostly (but not entirely) color-coded to match their teams.

The exception was Railway (coded red). If there's a secret reason why it was the exception, I haven't figured it out yet. Graphic designer missed the memo??

The MVs for the blue team's solos all included a #skzBlueMoon or, in #LeeKnow's case, a #BlueCake. (I'm counting that cake because it's round like a moon and also 'mooning' and 'cake' can both be associated with butts, so there.)

The MVs for the red team's solos did *not* have a common item appearing in all of them, as far as I can see. But the recent fan meeting featured a #skzRedMoon in the stage backgrounds for at least 3 of the songs. For this to be a deliberate red team reference, there would have to be a 4th occurrence that I missed, and I'm sure it's there somewhere.

Uhhh, for those who haven't watched the #skzDominate tour either in person or on livestream quite as many times as I have ...

First set:

Huh the #skzDominate tour solo sets have them grouped in the #skzBlue team and #skzRed team also, except for #BangChan and #Hyunjin swapping over.

Which makes sense considering that Railway is a red song. So he needed to swap into red team in this instance.

Hyunjin's song is probably the best fit with the songs from the other 3 blue team members.

I like the idea of them having their usual assignations but enjoying swinging as well.

The solo song sticker colours all match the field day colours too, *except* Railway is red instead of blue. It feels like maybe it's an exception because it's horny, and Bang Chan has a thing about red in that context. #RailwayByBangChan

The three OT8 songs are split. #WalkinOnWater is red. #BounceBack & #UFeatTablo are both blue.

Bounce Back is mostly Han, so that makes sense that it's on the blue side.

I *think* U is mostly Bang Chan.

Walkin On Water seems like a fairly evenly balanced #3racha production.

The red and blue lore goes back to the #CléSeries at least (or possibly earlier??)

I *think* there are some faint gasps and groans in the background at some points, especially towards the end.

(Also I think #Felix is doing some of the backing vocals?? Either that, or #BangChan's voice can go a lot deeper than he usually shows, or he's modifying the audio to shift the pitch down)
