The lake was singing for a whole day 🎶
Closing your eyes, you could imagine being on a very old ship, creaking under your feet. The waves thump against the hull, sending an echo through the belly of the vessel. And lower still, in the depths of the ocean, something otherworldly calls. An ancient whale or maybe something else entirely, something unknown to humankind 🐋

It's such a cool (hah ❄️) phenomenon! The ice is cracking over and over due to its own weight and the temperature differences in it. The result is creaking and screeching. The water slaps against it from underneath when the ice shifts enough, like a drum. The lake itself becomes the amplifier, throwing these otherworldly sounds out over the entire surrounding area 🔊
