Inspiration unfound

This question kind of made me laugh because I started watching America’s Got Talent for the first time this year and last week a magician was on and he pulled out a deck of playing cards and fanned them out and asked Simon to pick any card that he saw. Simon picked the four of diamonds. He then gave Simon a marker and asked him to write a word on the card that inspired him and Simon wrote down the word, “Myself”.

I won’t be doing that because I’m not much of an inspiration to myself.

I’m struggling with an answer here because I can’t really name a person who inspires me. Maimonides, Thoreau, Emerson, I haven’t read a lot but what I have read moved me, but I don’t really practice anything I read so where is my inspiration? Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chodron, the Dalai Lama, Ram Dass? Again, read a little and forget/ignore a lot so where’s the inspiration?

A number of writers and poets inspire me in different ways, but again not enough to change so not so inspirational.

I guess I’m uninspired. Does that make me a nihilist? Or apathetic? Or just plain dull?
