The chats with archaeologists gave me such a thirst to understand the lives of peoples previously living in my part of the world.
I discovered a midden off to the SW of one transect of mine. Some critter had burrowed in this spot and we discovered a dedicated trash pit. There were thousands of pieces of debitage. We discovered many bits evidence of a thriving village. #bayoupierre #mississippian
