Been naked cheffing in my kitchen early morning with some discounted lamb meat.
"Oh, like Jamie Oliver?" I hear you think.
Nah, just got out of bed and was about to head into the shower before I thought to myself I should set the meat to cook in time. 😅 Else I'd likely forget again, and it needs a while to roast (and I plan on making a soup with part of it).
Heated up some leftover #pinnekjøtt (some kind of steamed #sheepMeat), #potato and #kålrot (#rutabaga) / #gulrot (#carrot) #mash by frying it in a cast-iron pan with some olive/rapeseed oil. Turned out very well; possibly even better than when it first was prepared.
Not a slight on my mother-in-law, but I think this #meat really benefits from being fried after steaming, and potatoes always are better fried. :D
