Bamberg is such a small city. In the center ten minutes walking is enough to get wherever you want. And what a city center it is. There is beauty everywhere: strolling through small alleys, artsy cafés and traditional beer culture. Living in Bamberg must feel like living in a picturesque postcard.
At places like that time feels to be conserved. Those places seem to be enclaves, less touched by the outer world and therefore nearly surreal. It feels like something is missing in the most positive manner. There is a part of me, who wants to let myself fall into this feeling. And there is part of me, who feels betrayal and wants to rip the facade away.
