Ian K TindaleWell, I’ve dismantled my Roland SH-09 synthesizer as far as I wish to, to clean the slider pots which were all a bit crusty
The foam coverings are all dissolving, and even brushing the dust from them with a paintbrush causes them to just disintegrate
I’m not going to go into the pots to clean them, I’ve operated them up and down a lot with my photographic rocket blower pointing into the slot from above then below the shaft, and lots of operating movement, but I won’t spray anything into them
