I've been learning about #Sega's use of the #Z80 in it's early systems (#SG1000 #MasterSystem #SegaPico #Arcade) and how they incorporated one in the #SegaGenesis for backward compatibility, and also some sound processing.

Later on they did the same with the #Motorola #68000 that powered the #Genesis; it was used in the #Saturn (but only as a sound chip.)

Today I found out there's a Super Light Warrior Changerion game for the Sega Pico: https://youtu.be/8gru-RBAMFM

This implies the existence of a Changerion picture book as part of the cartridge for that oddball edutainment Genesis spinoff, and given everything about Changerion, that is a _wild_ concept. Changerion is kinda famously a bomb, and given its bizarre Toshiki Inoue fever dream nature, it never really feels like it has a target audience in mind besides "people who watch weird Toku."
