O el Puente del Centenario, en obras desde agosto de 2021 sin que se vislumbre su final. La Confederación de Empresarios de Sevilla acaba de criticar precisamente los "retrasos y despropósitos" en la ciudad. "Sevilla no es que esté a la cola, es que parece que el Gobierno la ha desahuciado", apuntaba su presidente, Miguel Rus.»

Oh no! Remember the months (years?) of disruption on Crystal Palace Park Road by Thameswater?

Well the roadworks are back with avengence. Yesterday temporary lights appeared between the junctions of Lawrie Park Road and Sydenham Avenue. Today we now have them under the railway bridges near the Telephone Exchange. Downhill queues were particulary bad this afternoon.

With the long term roadworks on Westwood Hill there is no escape from delays getting up or down the hill.

A Metropolitan Police officer has been found guilty of gross misconduct after a woman and child were killed by a car during a police pursuit in south-east London.

PC Edward Welch had been pursuing a stolen car in Penge, south-east London, in August 2016 when it mounted the pavement and hit Makayah McDermott,10, and Rozanne Cooper, 34.
