@elena for learning the BSD operating system, I would recommend getting an account on SDF.org - they run a cluster of NetBSD instances, including a European instance on sdfeu.org ( https://sdfeu.org/w/ )
The community is also pretty great in my opinion.

start [SDFeu.org]

It seems that social.sdfeu.org is not pulling in messages from other servers.

I'm posting this to see if I can at least post to the local timeline.

Messages aren't propagating to and from social.sdfeu.org as they were before the recent update. Weird.

Some messages do get through, but it's much less than it used to be. I haven't been able to discern any consistent pattern.

@SDF @SDF #sdf #sdfeu are separate right?

(This toot may be apropos getting @louis into sdf commode chat)

This evening I login into @SDF and don‘t do any useful anymore. #sdf #sdfeu
Well well well... I renewed my support to @SDF 's SDF-EU servers. It's long overdue anyway.
That is $9, so basically what I would pay for a scaleway stardust vps, with waaaay more guts, and a friendly place.

Any sdfeu / sdf-eu accounts in the audience?

Validated on sdf and sdf-eu couple of years ago just because I'm nosey and like to compare things and have opinions about everything and hedge. SDFeu seems really quiet so I went ARPA on sdf eventually. Have got a couple of pals validated on eu too. Want to lure a pal to anonradio cos he's got all the vinyl and the nerd-fu but he's contrary. Hours wouldn't conflict much at least.
